Zu Anfang des Blogs hatte ich schon einmal Bilder vom Sacro Monte in Varese, dem heiligen Berg. Seine Faszination erhält er durch die 14 Kapellen die sich bis zur Bergspitze erstrecken und schon viele Millionen von Pilgern anzogen. Diese Besonderheit führte dazu, dass die UNESCO ihn zum Weltkulturerbe ernannte. Um auch ohne Auto die Kirche auf der Spitze zu erreichen, gibt es eine Schwebebahn, die Funicolare.

One of my first posts had already shown some pictures of Sacro Monte, the Holy Mountain. He get his fascination because of the 14 chapels which reach to the mountainpeak and attracted many millions of pilgrims. The UNESCO added it to the list of the World Culture Heritage because of this particularity. Very smart is also the little overhead railway to reach the church on top without a car.

Già all'inizio di questo blog avevo messo delle foto di Sacro Monte di Varese. Il suo fascino avrà per le 14 capelle che si spaziano fino al pizzo e, sia nel passato che anche oggi, magnetico per milioni di pellegrini. È proprio per questa particolarità che l'UNESCO l'ha dichiarato come un patrimonio culturale mondiale. Si può raggiungere la chiesa alla cima anche senza usare la macchina andando in funicolare.

Anfang März und die ersten Frühlingsgefühle erwachen. Das Wasser war übrigens noch eisig kalt und die Leute haben uns nicht wenig verwundert angeschaut. Die Bilder sind in Porto Ceresio aufgenommen.

Frei nach Kennedy als er zu Besuch in Berlin war. Endlich habe ich meinen italienischen Ausweis und meinen Hauptwohnsitz in Italien. Bin also "echte Italienerin".

As Kennedy didn't say as he was for a visit in Berlin. So finally I got my italian identity card and took my main residence here in Italy. Now I'm a "real italian".

Come ha detto Kennedy facendo una visita a Berlino. Finalmente ho la mia carta d'identità italiana e la mia residenza proprio qua in Italia. Allora sono una "vera italiana".
