Working with horses

Soviel Zeit ist seit meinem letzten Post ins Land gestrichen. Leider habe ich wenig Zeit und deshalb hier nur ein kurzes Up-date: In den letzten Monaten habe ich einige Kunden gefunden und arbeite nun von montags bis freitags. Ich habe 5 Pferde verschiedener Rassen und Alters eines Besitzers, 2 Jungpferde um sie vom Boden aus vorzubereiten und 3 Lusitanohengste zum Anreiten in einem anderen Stall. Long time since my last post. Unfortunately I don't have much time, so here just a little up-date: In the last month I've got some clients, so I'm working from mondays to fridays. I have 5 horses of different races and ages to train from one owner, 2 young horses to prepare from the ground and 3 lusitan stallions to break-in at another stable. Tanto tempo è passato dal mio ultimo post. Purtroppo ho poco tempo, qiundi solo un piccolo up-date: Negli ultimo mesi ho trovato alcuni clienti e così lavoro dal lunedì al venerdì. Ho 5 cavalli di un proprietario di diverse razze e età, 2 puledri frisoni da domare a terra e 3 stalloni lusitani da domare in un altro maneggio. Bogenschießen will auch gelernt sein. Dann ist der Arm hinterher auch nicht komplett blau. Beim nächsten mal wissen auch wir, dass man den Bogen in der anderen Hand hält.

Il tiro con l'arco. Abbiamo imparato che si lo fa con l'altro braccio. Peccato che non lo sapevo prima. Avrei evitato l'ematoma enorme sul braccio. Va bò, la prossima volta si sa come farlo meglio.

Also the archery will be learnt. Now we know that you have to keep the bow in the other hand. To make that out I had to go through the pain and it left me a beautiful and enormous bruise.

Zu Anfang des Blogs hatte ich schon einmal Bilder vom Sacro Monte in Varese, dem heiligen Berg. Seine Faszination erhält er durch die 14 Kapellen die sich bis zur Bergspitze erstrecken und schon viele Millionen von Pilgern anzogen. Diese Besonderheit führte dazu, dass die UNESCO ihn zum Weltkulturerbe ernannte. Um auch ohne Auto die Kirche auf der Spitze zu erreichen, gibt es eine Schwebebahn, die Funicolare.

One of my first posts had already shown some pictures of Sacro Monte, the Holy Mountain. He get his fascination because of the 14 chapels which reach to the mountainpeak and attracted many millions of pilgrims. The UNESCO added it to the list of the World Culture Heritage because of this particularity. Very smart is also the little overhead railway to reach the church on top without a car.

Già all'inizio di questo blog avevo messo delle foto di Sacro Monte di Varese. Il suo fascino avrà per le 14 capelle che si spaziano fino al pizzo e, sia nel passato che anche oggi, magnetico per milioni di pellegrini. È proprio per questa particolarità che l'UNESCO l'ha dichiarato come un patrimonio culturale mondiale. Si può raggiungere la chiesa alla cima anche senza usare la macchina andando in funicolare.

Anfang März und die ersten Frühlingsgefühle erwachen. Das Wasser war übrigens noch eisig kalt und die Leute haben uns nicht wenig verwundert angeschaut. Die Bilder sind in Porto Ceresio aufgenommen.
